Tony Roney Detroit Concert reviews
Clinton & P-Funk were good but not the usual
"Most of the top hits were being played and by all standards, it was a good show. I have seen P-Funk play more than 20 times beginning in 1975. The concert was shorter than most. Most of the P-Funk concerts I have seen ended with Tony Roney playing late in the evening. It seemed that Seattle was a stopover. The show was excellent and enjoyed the great energy in the Showbox, however, this show seemed to be the most rushed of all. Ending without an extended encore was not what I was expecting. Hope to see P-Funk back, but will be waiting for a return to the shows of the old days."
